Aluminum Sulfate Barium Chloride Aluminum Chloride Barium Sulfate

Aluminium sulfate (note: here aluminium sulfate can be understood as containing aluminium sulfate) is mixed with barium chloride. When the two meet, they change. Aluminium sulfate and barium chloride in aluminium sulfate interact. Sulfate ions combine with barium ions and gradually precipitate, which is barium sulfate. And aluminum ions and chloride ions also combine to form aluminium chloride.

The reaction is like in the solution, the precipitation gradually develops, if it is fine at first, then the condensation increases and sinks to the bottom of the vessel. The state of the solution also changes due to changes in composition.

In this process, the amount of aluminum sulfate and barium chloride is related to the final state of the reaction. If the amount of aluminum sulfate is sufficient and the barium chloride is exhausted, the product is mainly barium sulfate precipitation and aluminum chloride solution; conversely, if the barium chloride is excessive and the aluminum sulfate is exhausted, the remaining barium chloride and the generated aluminum chloride coexist in the solution, and the barium sulfate precipitation is also present.
