Bactericide Added to Nutrient Broth

On the matter of adding inoculants to the nutritious broth
I have heard that in the broth for survival, the addition of inoculants can be investigated. The entry of inoculants into the broth is like the involvement of foreign objects in the internal environment, and it will inevitably cause changes.

When the inoculants first enter the broth, such as when a guest arrives at a new place, the environment of the broth is full of nutrients, and it is the new soil that the inoculants encounter. The bacteria contained in the inoculants may encounter suitable temperature, humidity, and rich nutrients. If their state is appropriate, they will germinate vitality.

However, this initial state has not been long, and the inoculants and the original microorganisms in the broth must respond to each other. The bacteria of the inoculum may have unique properties and can seize the nutrients of the broth so that they can multiply. The inherent flora of the broth is not sitting idly by, or fighting to protect its existence. The competition between the two is like a confrontation between the two armies, launching a silent battle in the micro-domain of the broth.

After the inoculum is added, initially, the bacteria of the inoculum may multiply slightly faster due to the novelty of the environment, and the number of bacteria of the inoculum increases. Soon, the inherent flora will rise up against each other, or due to changes in the environment and resource limitations, the reproduction of the bacteria of the inoculum will gradually slow down. As for a certain time, the two may reach a balance, and the ecology of the broth will be temporarily stable in the dynamic.

Also consider the purpose of adding fungi to the broth, or to promote beneficial changes in the broth, such as making nutrient transformation smoother, for specific purposes. However, if the loss of control is controlled, the fungi may cause harm, causing the broth to deteriorate and lose its original nature. Therefore, when adding fungi to the broth, we should pay close attention to it, and be careful to measure its dosage and timing, so as to achieve the expected effect and avoid accidents.
